This has been rumored for some time now, especially with Sony’s recent stake in Kadokawa, From’s parent company. The desire to build a stronger relationship between the two after this investment only makes sense. Not to mention, the 2 sides previous history of partnerships. With 2009’s Demon’s Souls, 2015’s Bloodborne, and 2018’s Déraciné.

FromSoftware is currently hard at work with Elden Ring and preparing for the games January release. Obviously, we should take this with a grain of salt, but if this project is real, we probably won’t hear about it until after Elden Ring’s out the door.
